Initial Site Assessment & Pre-Clearing – Lot B
Before any serious development work begins on a raw jungle lot, the first step is simply getting eyes on what you're working with. This article documents the earliest stage of Lot B at The Enclave — the initial site visit and assessment before any clearing or grading had been done.
The raw land was dense with secondary growth, vines, and overgrown vegetation accumulated over years of inactivity. Walking the lot at this stage gave the team a clear picture of the natural topography, the slope and drainage patterns, existing trees worth preserving, and the areas where the building pad could be positioned to maximize views and minimize earthwork.
This pre-clearing phase is critical. Decisions made here — where the plantel sits, how the access road is routed, which trees stay and which come out — set the trajectory for everything that follows. A thoughtful assessment at this stage prevents costly corrections later in the build.
These photos capture the lot exactly as it was found: raw, untouched, and full of potential.
