3.5 Acres — 3-Bedroom Creekside Home, Fully Furnished with Covered Rancho & Jacuzzi | Tinamastes

Property overview

Just outside the charming mountain community of Tinamastes, this unique 3.5-acre property offers space, privacy, cool mountain breezes, abundant nature, and a year-round creek — all within easy reach of the Southern Pacific coast.

The property features a comfortable 1,500 sq. ft. single-level home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, surrounded by mature trees and tropical vegetation. Fully furnished and designed for relaxed mountain living, the home features a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen with quartz countertops. Large patio doors open toward the outdoor areas, creating an easy connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

Step outside and you'll find a large covered wood rancho with a jacuzzi, creating the perfect place for outdoor dining, morning coffee, yoga, or simply relaxing while listening to the sounds of nature.

One of the most special features of this property is the incredible amount of mature vegetation surrounding the home. The tall trees create a natural corridor for wildlife and attract an impressive variety of birds throughout the day. It is also common to see deer, coatis, and occasionally howler monkeys moving through the surrounding forest.

A natural creek runs through the lower portion of the property throughout the year, featuring a unique series of flat bedrock formations known locally as "laja", creating small natural cascades. The same creek also serves as the water source for the home, where it is filtered for drinking.

Timamastes is one of those places where you can slow down and reconnect with nature without feeling completely isolated. The elevation provides a cooler mountain climate, while the surrounding rainforest, rivers, waterfalls, and wildlife create an incredible environment for outdoor living — all within reach of Dominical, the Costa Ballena beaches, and San Isidro.
