Main Power Junction Box – ICE Grid Connection for The Enclave
All of The Enclave's underground power infrastructure converges at a single, custom-fabricated junction box located near the main road — the point where the property connects to the ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad) national power grid.
This junction box is the backbone of the entire power system. Each lot's underground conduit run terminates here, and from this point the connection to the main ICE meter and service entrance is made. The box was custom designed and professionally fabricated to handle the full load of the development, with capacity to accommodate every lot being built out simultaneously.
Positioning the junction near the main road was intentional. It minimizes the length of the ICE service entrance run, simplifies the meter installation and inspection process, and provides easy future access for any maintenance or upgrades without needing to go deep onto the property.
The quality of this installation matters more than it might seem. An undersized or poorly built junction is one of the most common sources of electrical problems on Costa Rican rural properties — loose connections, moisture ingress, and overloaded circuits are all typical consequences of cutting corners at this stage. The Enclave's junction box was built to last, sealed against the elements, and sized with headroom for the full buildout.
With the junction box in place and the ICE connection established, every lot at The Enclave has reliable grid power available at its plantel — ready to connect the moment construction begins.
