Land clearing and site prep underway at Casa Bohorica

A new internal road had to be cut through the jungle to get to the main building site at Bohorica. To create the road, they had to clear a path through the jungle and add fill dirt material to raise the ground level. The road is designed to wind through the property and provide access to the different areas of the site.

To create a larger entrance into the driveway leading to Bohorica, the main road leading to the property had to be graded and 20 loads of new fill dirt was added. This involved smoothing out the surface of the road, adding new material to create a more level entrance for vehicles entering and exiting the property and a drainage ditch with culverts were added to direct the flow of runoff water. The new entrance will make it easier for larger vehicles to access the driveway and provide a more welcoming entrance to the property when completed.
