5 Acres — 3-Bedroom Luxury Jungle Home with Natural Stream, Saltwater Pool & Walking Trail | Ojochal

Property overview

Set on approximately five acres of tropical landscape in Costa Rica's Southern Pacific, Villa Amapola combines privacy with a home built for comfortable everyday living and entertaining. This fully furnished, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom residence offers 300 m² (3,229 sq ft) of interior living space, distinctive finishes, and a direct connection to the surrounding gardens and jungle.

The expansive open-plan living room and kitchen features locally crafted handmade cabinetry, built-in appliances, generous pantry storage, and broad stretches of granite countertops. A large central island incorporates dining space, keeping cooking, conversation, and gathering at the heart of the home.

Along the rear of the residence, a fully retractable glass wall opens the interior to the covered terrace, creating one continuous living space. Outside, wood ceilings frame dedicated dining and seating areas, an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, and the saltwater swimming pool. The spacious primary suite features a private terrace with a jetted tub overlooking the jungle canopy. Both guest bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, built-in closets, air conditioning, and ceiling fans.

Beyond the home, the five-acre property includes a year-round natural stream and a private jungle walking trail. Villa Amapola is one of just three residences sharing a private internal road — providing a small community feel within the surrounding landscape while maintaining end-of-the-road privacy.

Located in the San Buenas / Costa Ballena area, Villa Amapola offers easy access to Ojochal's restaurants, Uvita's beaches, and the marine experiences of Marino Ballena National Park.
